There is so much more to do that it is impossible to list it all. Just a few more examples of activities around the house and in the Steamboat Springs area...

If you enjoy snowmobiling in winter...

...you will love to go on the rides through the Routt National Forest on an ATV. You can go up the 10,839ft. Hahns Peak on old mining roads, from where the views of the Yampa Valley and Southern Wyoming are breathtaking. This is a fantastic opportunity to reach scenic areas for people who may not be able to ride a horse or hike.

Believe it or not...

...but due to the thin air (Steamboat is at 6,700ft. elevation) your drives should carry up to 10% further. The 18-hole city-owned public Haymaker Links Style Golf Course was designed by award-winning golf course architect Keith Foster. Although not yet rated, the Haymaker Golf Course will accomodate and challenge golfers of all ability levels from novice to professional.

Experience the white waters.

River rafting, canoeing, kayaks, you name it. If it will float, it can go down a river. In Steamboat Springs you will find any amount of tour operators that will take you down the Colorado River, the Green River and many more. From floating down the river to challenging rapids, they do it all. Or, you can rent tubes and go tubing down the Yampa River through Steamboat. And, of course, if you don't want to go into the water you can always go to the Steamboat Yacht Club, have lunch on the deck and watch others floating by on tubes...like for instance your family....(one of my favourite ways to pass the time).

...and so much more....etc...etc...etc...
